Open Monday – Friday from 9am – 3pm. There will be one driver providing transportation for essential services.
Open Monday – Friday beginning at 7am, last call accepted will be 3:00pm. A limited crew will be providing transportation for essential services.
For seniors who attended the Adrian Senior Center for their lunch meals – we have partnered with the Department on Aging to provide a drive through service – with the Senior Center staff providing curb side service. (The Adrian Senior Center is offering this service from 11:30 – 12:30 only).
Dial-A-Ride is the public transportation system in Adrian that will pick you up at your curb side and take you anywhere you want to go in the city limits of Adrian. We offer comfortable seating and each vehicle is wheel chair accessible.
TITLE VI NOTICE
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs and activities receiving Federal financial assistance. Specifically, Title VI provides that “no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance” (42 U.S.C. Section 2000d).
The City of Adrian Dial-A-Ride is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of its transit services on the basis of race, color or national origin, as protected by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Circular 4701.1B. Or you may file a complaint directly with the Federal Transit Administration by filing a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights, Attention: Title VI Program Coordinator, East Building, 5th Floor-TCR, 1200 New Jersey Ave., SE, Washington, DC 20590.
Call 265-6611 and let the dispatcher know where you need to be picked up and where you want to go. The dispatcher will send a bus to pick you up.
A “standing order” for service each day can also be booked with only one call to the Dial-A-Ride office.
* Please let the dispatcher know if you have special needs for a wheel chair lift equipped bus.
* Please let the dispatcher know if you have an appointment.
* Please cancel your ride if you are NOT going to need our service.
Anyone, any age, who is able to travel can use Dial-A-Ride services. Please call ahead and allow 30 – 45 minutes for the bus to arrive. You may make several stops before arriving at your destination, so plan for a slightly longer ride on the bus than you would expect in a car.
Passengers are responsible for carrying their own packages from store to bus and from bus to home. Please limit your carry ons to 3 packages.
For your safety, please consider traveling with a personal assistant/aide if you require extra assistance in using transportation services. Service animals are permitted to board the vehicles.
“Hail stops” and “walk on” customers will also be accommodated, but the option of which vehicle will carry the passenger is left to the dispatcher.
For the convenience of all, smoking is not allowed on board the Dial-A-Ride vehicles.
Dial-A-Ride is open Monday through Friday with office hours from 6:00am – 5:00pm.

EXACT FARES ARE REQUIRED – OUR DRIVERS DO NOT CARRY CHANGE.
Ticket books may be purchased at Adrian City Hall, our dispatch center located at 377 Logan Street or from the bus driver for $20.00. There are (20) $1.00 tickets in each book. These can be used in lieu of cash.
