The Adrian Fire Department is headed by Chief Aric Massingill. The department has 18 fulltime members and 10 paid on-call firefighters. The call volume exceeds 2500 requests for service per year with 80% of those being medical calls. The department has members trained for a number of services including technical rescue, fire inspection and fire investigation. Children and adults alike visit the department for tours and fire education. Each year the department takes its fire safety message to students in elementary schools throughout Adrian. Adrian Fire Department provides and receives mutual aid through the Lenawee County Mutual Aid Agreement.

This survey is requested to determine the quantity of specific chemical groups used, produced, or stored in your facility. Fire Chiefs are required to collect chemical data under the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act, PA 154 of 1974, as amended, and the Fire Prevention Code, PA 207 of 1941, as amended.

Check all the categories that apply when a chemical has more than one characteristic. Each chemical group listed in this survey includes a specified quantity. Indicate the quantity category for each chemical group on your site. To complete this survey, you may need to reference Safety Data Sheets (SDS or formerly MSDS’s), SARA Title III reporting forms, along with definitions provided to you in the mailing notice.
