TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF ADRIAN, COUNTY OF LENAWEE:
ELECTION: PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY
ELECTION DATE: TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2020
The City of Adrian will be holding the Presidential Primary on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. The Election will be held in the Merchants Building at the Lenawee County Fairgrounds. The Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 pm.
This election is held every four years and does require that you select a ballot type. There will be only two ballots types per precinct:
• DEMOCRATIC PARTY
• REPUBLICAN PARTY
If you do not wish to select a ballot type you will not be eligible to vote in this election.
The deadline to register to vote in any manner other than with the City Clerk is 15 days before the election. If you register to vote within that 15 days at the Secretary of State’s office you must also come to the City Clerk’s office to show identification to be eligible to vote in the upcoming election.
We do allow same day voter registration, but you must appear at the City Clerk’s Office with proof of residency.

Absentee ballots can be obtained by mail until Friday, March 6th by 5:00 pm.
Absentee ballots can also be obtained at the City of Adrian, City Clerk’s Office on the 2nd floor until Monday, March 9th by 4:00 pm. If the ballot is issued on Monday, March 9th, it must be voted at the City Clerk’s Office.
The City Clerk’s Office will be open Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm to issue and receive absentee ballots.
