Upcoming Election

Election Dates for the 2024 Calendar Year are as follows:
Tuesday, February 27, 2024 - Presidential Primary 
Tuesday, May 7, 2024 - Local Election - Adrian Public Schools and Adrian City Library millage proposals
     The Clerk's Office with hold special hours on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 8:30a-4:30p to register voters for the May 7, 2024 election.
     Pre-processing of absentee ballots will take place on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (or until finished) adjacent to the Clerk's Office on the 2nd floor of City Hall at 135 E  Maumee St, Adrian, MI 49221.
Tuesday, August 6, 2024 - State Primary Election
Tuesday, November 7, 2024 - General Election (Presidential)

EARLY VOTING
For the first time ever in February 2024, all Michigan voters were given the opportunity to cast their ballot early in-person for 9 full days prior to each Federal or State election. Early voting opportunities will take place again prior to the August 6, 2024 State Primary Election and the November 5, 2024 Presidential Election. One early voting site will be operating in Lenawee County to accommodate those voters who wish to cast and have their ballot counted in-person before Election Day. The City of Adrian is partnering with the Lenawee County Clerk's office to provide early voting services. 




Please note that more traditional methods of casting a ballot, such as voting absentee or voting in-person on Election Day, are still available.
