The Adrian Fire Department is headed by Chief Tim Bartenslager. The department has 18 fulltime members and 10 paid on-call firefighters. The call volume exceeds 2500 requests for service per year with 80% of those being medical calls. The department has members trained for a number of services including technical rescue, fire inspection and fire investigation. Children and adults alike visit the department for tours and fire education. Each year the department takes its fire safety message to students in elementary schools throughout Adrian. Adrian Fire Department provides and receives mutual aid through the Lenawee County Mutual Aid Agreement.Adrian Fire Department.
