Form of Government
The City of Adrian is a Home Rule city and operates under a charter adopted in 1957.  The elective officers include a mayor, who serves a 2-year term, and six commissioners, who serve 4-year terms.  The City Commission appoints a City Administrator, who is the chief administrative officer of the city government.  The City Commission meets regularly on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month, unless otherwise noted, at the City Chambers located at 159 E. Maumee Street.
